Established in 1878 as ‘Doon Club’; Incorporated in February 1901 as ‘Dehradun Club Limited’; Saved by the Allahabad High Court in 1947 from ‘Liquidation by the departing British’; Celebrating Life! One of the oldest Clubs in India, it began in Colonel Young’s Bungalow on the main Rajpur Road in Dehra Dun. Col Young was an enterprising Irishman who was responsible for ‘discovering’ Mussoorie by building the first structure, a shooting lodge, up there. Today his bungalow in Dehra Dun houses the Heritage Building of the prestigious St Joseph’s Academy.

As custodians of this cherished institution, our Managing Committee represents a diverse group of dedicated individuals who view our members as an extended family. With the invaluable support and wisdom of our senior members, we are committed to upholding the values and mission that define our club. Together, we will strive to create a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere for all. To ensure the club's growth, we will focus on efficiency and accountability by streamlining operations and establishing defined management roles through a comprehensive manual. Financial stability is essential, and we aim to strengthen our resources while enhancing security measures for the comfort of all members.
With a diverse range of skills and expertise, our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional results and exceeding our clients' expectations.
The Dehradun Club regularly hosts member-exclusive events such as themed dinners, music nights, and festive celebrations for its community of members and their guests.
The Valentine Day Party is to held at Doon Club Party Area Exclusively for Members with Pre registration.
